The Bregenz Festival is Lake Bodensee’s cultural festival in summer. During July and August there take place over 80 performances with round about 200.000 visitors. 2019 the opera "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi is enacted. In this year, the Bregenz Festival happen from 17 July to 18 August for the 74rd time.

Bregenz lakeside stage in bad weather
Performances on the Bregenz lakeside stage are all open-air. In the event of bad weather, visitors will be informed by loudspeaker from 1 hour before the show as to whether the performance will take place. Depending on your ticket category you can see the replacement performance in the Festspielhaus Bregenz or have your ticket refunded at the Ticket Centre or online.
